For thirty five spectators at a time, in the atmospheric stillness
of an antiquary's library, mysteries of the universe are explored and explained
in a miracle of miniature animation theatre. A voyage through ideas and time,
enigmatic and beautiful, Aberrations is the stuff of dreams.... and nightmare.
Performed by puppeteers Ezechiel Garcia-Romeu and François Tomsu, and
featuring distinguished French actor Jacques Fornier as the mysterious antiquary,
this most unusual theatre experience was one of the 1999 Avignon Festival's
outstanding hits.
