
From Italy, winner of the European Comedy Award and a sold-out hit at last year's Festival, this virtuoso show was inspired by French novelist Raymond Queneau's Omnibus-Exercises of Style, in which one short story is re-told in many ways. In sixty increasingly hilarious minutes, actor/mime Paolo Nani goes through the routine of writing a letter in a succession of different characterisations and styles. Each self-contained episode is filled with artistry and visual humour.
There is a sense of being trapped in an endless loop where
life is always the same yet never the same and increasingly hysterical.... bubbling
