The past decade has seen a renaissance of 'circus theatre' with the success of such companies as Archaos, Cirque de Soleil, Licedei and Slava Polunin. This year's Festival opens with an interpretation of the Seven Deadly Sins by aerialists, No Ordinary Angels; the Millenium Dome has put circus at the middle of its attractions and increasing numbers of young performers are developing circus skills and bringing them into theatre performance. Led by a panel of leading practitioners, this discussion explores the notion of 'circus theatre' and highlights its pleasures and pitfalls. Limited capacity. Early booking recommended. Total Theatre in association with London International Mime Festival and SBC
