Leandre-Claire
Madame et Monsieur
Inspired
by the great silent movie era, Madame et Monsieur is a
poignant tale of love in adversity. Two innocent waifs, rootless
and homeless, imagine a home together filled with love, tenderness
and joy. From this simple idea, mime-clown Leandre Ribera, dancer
Clare Ducreux, and their company have created a heart-warming
story touched with poetry and magic. Not a word spoken, live piano
accompaniment by David Moreno.
Leandre is 'a master of ingenuity and transformation'.
The Independent
'Nothing I've seen has more power than this mixture of poetry,
humour and movement. It moves us, makes us smile, even laugh'.
