Spymonkey
Cooped

Director: Cal McCrystal

A 'hit' at last year's Festival with Stiff, Brighton-based Spymonkey returns FOR ONE NIGHT ONLY with it's new show, once again set in a gothic world somewhere between Daphne du Maurier and Edgar Allen Poe.

A young girl arrives at the Cornish mansion of Count Murdston. Rich, beautiful, fawn-like, swinging...but a hostage to love, Laura du Lay knew the first day she met her mysterious new employer that life - and love - would never be the same again. And her an orphan! Is it too late? Is she already...cooped?

Non-stop gags, hilarious script devised by Cal McCrystal and the company - Total Theatre Award-winner Spymonkey comes up with another classic physical comedy spoof.

‘Utterly infectious - a perfectly paced hybrid of The Pink Panther and Psycho’.
The Independent

'I laughed so much my throat hurt'.
