For six generations the Ronaldo family has toured the province of Flanders with its beautiful gypsy caravans and eccentric, hand-made mix of circus and theatre.
Since making its first ever overseas' appearance at the 1998 Mime Festival, Circus Ronaldo has gone on to win hearts around the world. True to popular commedia dell'arte tradition, its rollicking Fili features larger than life characters competing to impress with their skills, melodrama, masks, music and fire - not to mention an ambitious marionette opera. Fili has the gentle warmth of country fair entertainment and the surreal atmosphere of a Fellini film. Delightful and special, a show for the whole family to enjoy.
