Exploiting
limitations of space, Pandora 88 is a lyrical performance
by Fabrik that blurs division between dance and theatre. A 'box'
barely the size of a small lift encapsulates the shared experiences
and life paths of the two performers. It is their playground,
home, prison, their source of light, sound and memories.
Inspired by Brian Keenan's Beirut hostage memoirs, An Evil
Cradling, and Stanley Kubrick's film, 2001: A Space Odyssey,
Wolfgang Hoffmann and Sven Till have created one of the recent
Edinburgh Fringe's most talked about shows, winning five star
reviews and Scotsman Fringe First, Herald Angel and Total Theatre
awards. The director is Britain's Andrew Dawson, co-creator of
long-running stage hits, Thunderbirds FAB and Space
Panorama.
'Not to be missed'.
The Times
'Extraordinarily inventive dance theatre...one of the most
captivating shows in Edinburgh. Shattering.'
The Guardian
'Simply unforgettable.'
