A beetle infested skull, a desolate sanitorium, a clown with a bayonet, a ghostly amputee and puppet nudity are some of the horrors in Horsehead. Using specially composed music and sounds, pre-recorded and live video, animated figures and mechanical sets, Faulty Optic has gained an international following for its brand of bizarre visual theatre and adult puppetry.
Spiked with macabre humour, this tale of hospital hauntings is a collaboration with composer Daniel Padden of the band Volcano The Bear and writer/director Edward Carey, author of Observatory Mansions and Alva and Irva.
